What we do
- Meet every third Tuesday from September through June from 1:30 – 3:30
- Develop long-term early learning strategies, annual budgets, and work plans
- Host and support community training and events
- Coordinate grant proposals
- Provide forums for information sharing, partnership, and collaboration

Aberdeen School District serves families living in the city of Aberdeen.
Alliance for Child Welfare Excellence offers over 125 training classes and customized coaching sessions to social service specialists, their supervisors and child welfare administrators at training sites across the state.
Amerigroup offers real solutions that improve health care access and quality for our members, while proactively working to reduce the overall cost of care to taxpayers. They are passionate about engaging with members, promoting healthy families, and building community relationships in the areas they serve.
Beacon Preschool/ECEAP serves qualifying families/students living within the Montesano School District.
Chehalis Tribal Early Learning Center gives Native families and individuals opportunities for continued academic growth and success. They extend services to tribal members, Native Americans and the local community. This promotes strong relationships between families, students and educators.
Child Care Action Council (CCAC) serves parents and providers in Grays Harbor, Thurston, Mason, Kitsap, Jefferson, and Clallam counties. Its mission is to promote and nurture early learning communities where children and families thrive. They accomplish this by helping families locate quality childcare in their area, offering training for child care professionals, helping to create new child care programs to fulfill unmet needs, and advocating for children and families on a state, local, and federal level.
Connections, A Center for Healthy Families serves as a Grays Harbor’s Children’s Advocacy Center and offers intervention, parenting education, parent-child visitation, and parent-child assistance programs. Connections’ mission is to cultivate healthy families, safeguard children, and connect the community to services.
Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is the lead agency for state-funded services that support children and families to build resilience and health, and to improve educational outcomes. They accomplish this by partnering with state and local agencies, tribes and other organizations in communities across the state of Washington. Their focus is to support children and families at their most vulnerable points, giving them the tools they need to succeed.
ESD 113 Sound to Harbor ECEAP & Head Start has programs that provide high-quality preschool to support children’s emotional, social, health, nutritional, and psychological needs. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
Grays Harbor College provides professional development for Early Learning professionals in addition to adult education, training in English Language, GED preparation, high school completion, career and technical education (Workforce Education) and college transfer courses.
Grays Harbor Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit known in the community for giving grants to other non-profits in Grays Harbor County and scholarships to youth. They also provide administrative and investment management services that make it easy for donors to be involved at whatever level they wish, and to accomplish their charitable goals with their tax deductible donations that improve the quality of life in Grays Harbor.
Grays Harbor County Public Health & Social Services works to improve the health and well-being of the people of Grays Harbor. They accomplish this through a variety of services and programs, including the Grays Harbor Family Support Program and Parents as Teachers.
Grays Harbor Cradle to Career Consortium seeks to engage and transform children, youth, and families through community collaboration resulting in long-lasting impact.
Hopkins Early Childhood Center is a vibrant center of learning for children and families in the Aberdeen School District. It is also home to several different types of preschool classrooms, the Early Childhood Evaluation Center, Snug Harbor Child Care, Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP), and the COPE Teen Parent Program.
Hoquiam School District serves families living in the city of Hoquiam.
KBTC Public Televisionis an active member of the community—spreading awareness, celebrating diversity and illuminating the paths of social discourse and growth. They engage with community organizations who are dedicated to serving the under-served and work with partners who are focused on inspiring children.
Lake Quinault School District serves families living in the Lake Quinault and Amanda Park area.
Little People’s Landing Childcare is a child care program located in Central Park.
Molina Healthcare seeks to provide quality health care to people receiving government assistance. They are committed to community service and have established a vibrant corporate social responsibility initiative to support the communities they serve.
Montesano School District serves families living in the city of Montesano.
Save the Children gives children in the U.S. and around the world a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm. With the help of generous donors, they are able to help our nation’s most vulnerable children become ready for kindergarten – and excel by third grade – so they can succeed in school and in life.
South Sound Parent to Parent, (Birth to Three Program) (SSP2P) is a system of early intervention services that helps children from birth to three with developmental delays or disabilities. At SSP2P, they understand the challenges and worry from a parent’s perspective and are there to help and provide specific resources for you and your child. In Grays Harbor they provide early intervention screening, family resource coordination, and are the point of entry for services.
The Arc of Grays Harbor provides information, resources and referrals to individuals with disabilities, as well as emotional support and mentoring to parents of new diagnosis of a child. They also provide educational workshops and presentations for the community, a summer youth employment program, and host programs with opportunities for social engagement.
Timberland Regional Library (TRL) is a public library system that provides library services and programming to the residents of Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston Counties.
Visions for Early Learning Regional Coalition (VEL) is the regional coalition made up of the Early Learning Coalitions located in Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, North Pacific, Thurston. Its mission is to promote partnerships and community connections that support early learning.
WSU Extension Grays Harbor County has various programs that connect the people and communities of Grays Harbor County with the knowledge base of Washington State University to promote quality of life and advance economic well-being through fostering inquiry, learning, and the application of research.
YMCA of Grays Harbor offers a wide array of programs and services for all age groups, including fitness classes, family activities, and youth programs. They also have child care, preschool classes, and free play groups like Care & Kids.
